It has been a very busy few days here at Feline Travel Minibus Hire, we have been getting ready for the Children to go back to School, everything has gone smoothly and the Children starting “big school” all enjoyed themselves. We already miss the Children who have moved up to Junior School who used to travel on the minibus with us and hope that they all had a good day and will quickly settle in to their new Schools.

East Ruston School have had some new play equipment installed in the playground and it looks fantastic.

We now offer a local Taxi Service, pre-booking is recommended – so if you are in the Catfield, Stalham, Potter Heigham, Ludham, Wroxham, Hickling or Sea Palling area and need to get to the train station, shops, dentist, doctors or the local pub please call us to book your Taxi, especially for Saturdays as we get booked up very quickly for Saturday night. We are available for local and long distance journeys whatever the occasion. Feline Travel have lots of experience in taking Passengers to all major airports and seaports. Our Private Hire/Taxis can accommodate up to 8 passengers and Luggage. Mini Coach to Woodforde’s Brewery

The Landlord of the Pleasureboat Inn, Hickling and his guests enjoyed a visit to Woodforde’s Brewery, a mini coach was booked with us to take them all there so that they could enjoy the Ales on offer and not have to worry about driving home again.

There is a one off special event being held by Woodforde’s at the Top of the Canary, Carrow Road, Norwich on September 29th, 2011 – Woodforde’s have got together with Delia’s Canary Catering, during the evening you will enjoy a delicious 4 course Norfolk Menu accompanied by a selection of Local and European Ales. When you arrive you will enjoy your first real ale of the evening ‘Once Bittern’. Each of the Ales you will enjoy with your meal has been specially chosen to complement the Menu, Head Brewer Neil Bain and Head of Catering Chris Pope will introduce each course and accompanying Ale.
There will be an Ale to suit all tastes including the raspberry flavoured ‘Bacchus Frombozenbier’ which will be served with desert.

This event is perfect for those of you wanting a night out and enjoy some of Norfolks finest produce and ale. Why not make up a party, book a minibus or mini coach and come along.

A Visit to Cromer Pier for the Seaside Special Show

Jean and her friends arranged for a group to go to Cromer for the Best of the Seaside Special Show, the group traveled in our Mini Coach so we were able to take them all the way down the Esplanade to the Pier entrance, this was very much appreciated by passengers that were not able to walk too far. Everyone had a great time and they are all looking forward to their next day out in Cromer.

Day Trip to Lowestoft

Dawn and her friends from Stalham booked one of our Mini Coaches to take them to Lowestoft for a day trip. They all had a nice lunch at their “Club” and then spent the afternoon shopping. Our Driver took them along the Coast Road through Corton and Hopton on the way back, several of them had not been along that route for some time and as it was a lovely sunny day there was plenty to see.

An E-type named Amy

With no Mini Buses or Taxis in site we made our way to Henries of Sheringham (North Norfolk Taxi & MOT Test Station) as they held an Open Day on Sunday to celebrate 25 years in business. There were lots of classic vehicles on show but mainly Jaguars including several E-types, as lots of people will be aware, it is the 50th Anniversary of this classic marque. We would like to thank Henries for inviting us to join them at their premises in Sheringham and wish them every success for the future.

After we left Sheringham we toured along the North Norfolk Coast towards Cley stopping on the way for the traditional Ice Cream and the feeding of the Ducks ritual at Salthouse before heading back to Catfield

P.S. the Hog Roast was very good !!

Minibus Fishing Trip

Lez, one of our Minibus Drivers has today taken a group down to the Fairlight Fishing Lakes near East Grinstead, the day is in memory of a friend and they go on their fishing trip every year. Colin was the winner and he caught 148lb 8oz of Carp by the end of the day – Lez is jealous ! I wont disclose how much he caught !!! The party are traveling back in the minibus soon, I am sure there will be a few tales to tell.
